Since 2013, I have worked as a professional video editor in all areas of media: television shows, commercials, short films, documentaries, educational classes, e-commerce videos, trailers, promos and web series. Notable employers include NBC, Viacom, Condé Nast, Bravo, Vice and Skillshare.
I have a passion for editing and storytelling that shines through in every project I work on. No matter what the assignment or intended audience, I pride myself in my ability to represent a client’s voice and vision while considering the expectations of the viewer. In addition to my technical knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop, I am proficient in receiving and executing feedback, audio editing, color correcting, sound design, creative problem solving, multitasking and meeting deadlines.
In my previous role as Senior Editor at Skillshare, I was tasked with editing full length classes on a wide variety of subjects from a diverse range of teachers. Each class needed its own unique style and voice while still adhering to guidelines of a Skillshare class. Every project gave me the opportunity to insert my own creative vision and an understanding of the teacher, audience and subject matter, while fulfilling the expectations of the producers and platform as a whole.
